President Lorie Logan Gives DBC the State of The Economy

Back by popular demand, the Dallas Business Club will host Lorie Logan, President of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank.

You won't want to miss this! On Thursday, September 7, President Logan will provide her latest views on the state of the U.S. economy and discuss her thoughts on the outlook for monetary policy as a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee. We expect the national news media will attend this important presentation, spotlighting our Club locally and nationally.

As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial sector, Logan has a wealth of knowledge to share with us. She previously served as Manager of the System Open Market Account for the Federal Open Market Committee, as well as the Executive Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Her role involved leading Market Operations from 2012 through 2022, where she played a key role in implementing the central bank's emergency programs during the pandemic. Ms. Logan was named President of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank on August 22, 2022, making her the first woman to hold the role in a permanent capacity.
