Rich brings more than 19 years of consumerism experience in health care. He started REDU Health to help patients avoid surprise bills and make them aware of less expensive alternatives. The B2B model supplies pricing data to organizations with established member communication platforms.
Previously, Rich served on the leadership team for Yaro, a healthcare navigation app based out of Chicago (now Virgin Pulse) and served in several leadership roles as a Director of Product Development & Management for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, ADP and Humana. He designed and implemented national reference pricing and monetized data assets for the Blues and led the team to deliver Humana’s first HSA product.
Rich has a passion for designing and implementing services enabling health care consumerism by supplying actionable data to help members make informed health care decisions. Now he leverages that experience and passion for the benefit of members at REDU Health.
Rich holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
