Cameron Larkin sits on the Dallas Business Club Board of Directors representing Columbia University.  As Vice President, Capital Markets, he's also responsible for all commercial real estate debt financing surrounding the Office, Retail, Industrial, and Hotel properties of Prime Income Asset Management's $3 billion CRE portfolio.  Larkin is just four weeks into his new job at Prime, and he credits the DBC for linking him up with the opportunity. 

"This past January, fellow member Sean Lofgren (DBC Board of Director from Northwestern Kellogg) came across an interesting job posting, uploaded it to the DBC LinkedIn site and turned me onto the associated recruiter," said Larkin.  " I wasn't even looking for a new opportunity, but it sounded so intriguing that I took the call.  On May 20 I started in the new job, and that night at our May DBC Happy Hour, I was sharing the story about leveraging the DBC network with several prospective members.  The fact that a new opportunity found me because of the DBC serves to highlight the value of the unique club community."

Prior to Prime, Larkin oversaw a national investment bank he founded, Larkin Hospitality Finance, raising over $100 million in debt and equity capital for the firm's hotelier clients. Cameron also worked for GE Capital for 10 years where he led teams across six of the company’s financial operating units in the US and Europe and had responsibility for credit portfolios as large as $4.5 billion.

He holds an MBA from Columbia University, a BS of Business Administration from the University of Vermont, Quality Six Sigma MBB certification, and he holds two registered financial product patents.  Cameron lives in Dallas with his wife and 5-year old son, helps coach his son's T-ball team, and has finished 8 marathons.
