Benefits of Registration...and the Inner Circle Membership

Registration is free on this site and the benefits are numerous. Additionally, certain special pricing is sometimes offered to the Inner Circle Members. Take a moment to read through a brief description of the DBC and choose opt "IN" for the eNewsletter.

The Organization

The Dallas Business Club (DBC) is a speaker series and social networking alliance of graduates from 18 of the top international and local business schools living in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. DBC is a tax exempt, non-profit organization with a focus on education, career development, community charities and networking that serves a combined alumni body of approximately 25,000. Speaker Series, the Marquee events

Each year, the DBC will host between four and six "marquee" events featuring locally and nationally recognized speakers and panelists on a wide variety of business topics. The targeted event series includes:

  • Doing Business in Southeast Asia
  • Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Unique Business Cultures
  • Dallas-Fort Worth Commercial and Residential Real Estate Market
  • Doing Business in Western Europe
  • An Evening with the Mayors of Dallas or Fort Worth
  • Dallas-Fort Worth Aerospace/Defense Industry
  • The Oil and Gas Industry in the 21st Century

Social Events

The DBC will host at least five social and business mixer events each year in some of Dallas’ most beautiful and interesting venues. The DBC believes that the relationships and social networking that these events encourage are just as valuable as the business education of the speaker series. The evenings are fun and relaxing and an excellent opportunity for people to meet and mingle with fellow MBAs.

Benefits of the Inner Circle Membership

An MBA degree from one of the 18 member institutions entitles the alumnus to register with the DBC and attend any DBC event. Due to the demographics that we represent, the DBC is an organization with which other organizations like to associate and to make special offers. Occsionally, addtitional "special member pricing" or other benefits also become available. Because they are usually short-term or on a very limited basis, the Inner Circle Memberships have been incorporated.

  • The Dallas Theater Center hosted a wine and cheese reception, complete with complimentary tickets, in October. Discount tickets will be available for the performance of "Ella" in January of 2008.
  • The Meyerson is providing substantially discounted tickets for the spring season of 2008.
  • The DBC Sponsroship Committee is working on special events pricing to sporting events and will announce them as soon as they become known.
  • Periodically, prominent business and political figures will be in town for small gatherings. These usually occur with little advance notice, except to the Inner Circle Membership.
  • The Park City Club of Dallas will provide special reduced initiation to those who register as members and a portion of the monthly dues will be contributed to the Dallas Business Club. Please contact President@DallasBusinessClub.com for more information.

There are two levels of Inner Circle Memberships. We hope that you will consider one of them:

  1. Inner Circle, Gold--entitles the patron to first-refusal on all special offers for the period of one year, PLUS a $10 discount to "marquee" events (this is a nonvoting membership).
  2. Inner Circle, Silver--entitles the patron to participate in special offers made available through the Dallas Business Club for the period of one year. In the case of limited availability, Inner Circle Gold members shall have right of first-refusal (this is a non-voting membership).

Oh!...and before you go...we highly recommend that you opt "IN" to receive the eNewsletter! The alumni offices will not keep you as well informed of our activiies as we will, it is just logistically impossible.
