The DBC is invited to join Duke North Texas as they host Dr. Eric G. Bing MBA'09, MD, PhD, Professor of Global Health at Southern Methodist University and the former Director of Global Health at the George W. Bush Institute.
Dr. Bing will speak about his work on Creating Impact In Global & Public Health. Most poor outcomes are caused not by lack of effective medicines or medical know-how. The ability to prevent and treat many of these diseases inexpensively has been available for a very long time. Getting the right remedies to the right people in the locations when they are needed, in a way they will use them, and at a cost they can afford is continually a challenge. This interactive presentation will focus on thinking about low cost, effective means to solve health problems around the world and right here in Dallas. We hope you are able to join us for breakfast and insightful conversation.
