Thunderbird School of Global Management

Thunderbird is offering Scholarships to its Advanced Management Program for Oil and Gas Executives, running from 11/28/2016 through 12/9/2016. The Thunderbird Executive Education is designed for managers of business units or divisions in the oil and gas industry on their Professional Development Path. Instruction spans two weeks and utilizes team-based simulations and (of course) case studies. Peer-group participants share personal experiences and examples in Strategy, Finance, Leadership and Negotiations. I participated in this Program five years ago and was able to participate on teams with senior-level executives from Apache, Chevron, British Petroleum, several NOCs and many others. This is a rare and stimulating opportunity to exchange experience, observations and best practices at the highest level. Regular tuition for this program is $15,375 which also grants 6.5 CEUs. The First Level DBC-TBird Scholarship to be awarded is 66%, resulting in total tuition of $5,000! The first level scholarship will be awarded to one MBA chosen from applicants are members of the DBC Inner Circle. The Second Level DBC-TBird Scholarship to be awarded is 25%, resulting in total tuition of USD$11,531. There are five scholarships to be awarded at this level. Application is open to all DBC Alumni that have graduated from one of the 27 member schools. Scholarships of each level will be awarded by a committee composed of Thunderbird MBAs and Executive Education faculty.
