The University of Dallas College of Business is thrilled to announce that our Guest Lecturer for Spring will be Hockey Legend Brett Hull. He will address the audience on what can be learned from making dramatic, successful (and sometimes unsuccessful) career transitions.
As a top caliber hockey player Brett transitioned between cities, teams and owners, ran side businesses in the restaurant industry and still managed to become the third highest scoring player in the history of the NHL. After his hockey career ended he transferred to the Stars front office where he has held roles ranging from the official "Ambassador of Fun" for the Stars to an Executive Vice President. He also co-owns Hully & Mo Restaurant & Tap Room in Dallas with former teammate Mike Modano and restaurateur Eddie Cervantes.
This lecture is a must for anyone interested in the Sports and Entertainment Industry, Hockey Fans or even those just interested in some of the challenges of transitioning from one career to another.
