Women in Conducting: An Evening Celebrating the Hart Institute and Dallas Opera
The local alumni clubs of Northwestern University and the Wharton School extend a special invitation to the DBC to celebrate the advancement of women in conducting!
The Hart Institute has pushed to close the gap for women leading orchestras and opera companies throughout the world. Join NU Alumnus and Dallas Opera General Director, Ian Derrer, along with NU Alumna and Dallas Opera Orchestra member, Katie Wolber, and Austin Lyric Opera General Director Annie Burridge for a panel discussion. Following the discussion, the evening will culminate in a concert featuring the Dallas Opera Orchestra led by the conductors who have participated in the Hart Institute.
