Scott Miller has more than 30 years of investment experience in equities and fixed income both in the United States and international markets. He is a past president of the CFA Society of Dallas/Ft. Worth and the Wharton Alumni Club of Dallas/Ft. Worth. He is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Council on Foreign Relations, Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, The Dallas Assembly, and the World Affairs Council. B.A. Economics from Vanderbilt University and MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Eric J. Marshall, CFA currently serves as the President and Director of Research for Hodges Capital Management. Eric has been with the firm since 1997. He serves as a portfolio manager on five of the Hodges Funds and several investment strategies for financial advisors, family offices, pension plans, and foundations. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from West Texas A&M University. He is an active member of the CFA Institute and the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts.

Preston Paine has over 32 years of investment experience with Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley. He began his career in Institutional Equity Sales focusing on global equity capital markets. In 2003, Preston began managing discretionary portfolios for ultra-high net worth individuals and families. His Global Tactical Asset Allocation strategy invests in major asset classes using ETFs to deliver competitive returns with reduced volatility. The rules based, repeatable strategy is low cost, tax efficient, transparent and liquid. In February 2018 Preston joined Allen Family Office as Chief Investment Officer.
 


lellis-picLincoln Ellis – Market Strategist View on Different Asset Classes in Current Market
Lincoln Ellis is the Senior Investment Strategist and CIO in Northern Trust’s Global Family & Private Investment Offices practice. In this capacity, Lincoln works with Chief Investment Officers, investment staff and their families on portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection and program implementation. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and the Institutional Group’s Multi-Manager Solutions - Investment Oversight Committee. Lincoln will give a Top Down presentation on the Risks and Rewards of different Asset Categories and tell Investors what they should be thinking about in selecting their Asset Allocations in the Current Investment climate and heading into 2019, given his Market Outlook.
